PGI should be making more attempts to add canon to the game.

Basically a 5K with 1B each arm instead of 1E. Give it an XL300, two AC/5 w 4 tons ammo and 4MLas and a couple heatsinks or jj.

Originally developed by Team Banzai as a prototype for the Federated Commonwealth's answer to the Liao Raven 3L, this Blackjack prototype variant is heavily upgraded with a full electronic warfare suite. A Beagle Active Probe complements the variant's excellent sensor suite. Protecting the 'mech and its supported lance is a Guardian ECM suite. The entire electronics suite ties into the targeting system and coordinates with the AMS system.
Intended to support other lances of lighter or heavier Battlemechs, the BJ-3D is built around single Whirlwind Class 5 Autocannon, intended to support friendly 'mechs from range where possible. The suite of light weapons are intended for close-defense of the Blackjack against infantry and light armor - twin SperryBrowning Machine-guns, twin Intek Small Lasers, and a pair of Hovertek Streak short-range missile launchers. While the ammunition load out of the 'mech is light, it's support role is not intended to engage in protracted firefights.
The sheer expense of altering the Blackjack's frame to accept the larger 200 XL engine as well as the enhanced sensor suite - and the invasion of the Clans - caused this prototype design to be shelved until after the crisis, and later production from the St. Ives Compact became impossible. The single prototype variant was provided to Leftenant-Colonel Michael Ubodo, replacing his 3025-era Blackjack with the Star-League era upgraded BJ-3#, as recognition of his long years of heroic service.
(Ubodo and the Arrow deserve to be in MWO; no matter what the Blackjack design. Nod to Strum Wealh for posting it here first. IMHO, the torso missile boxes should have no more than 6-10 tubes, and could be cosmetically appealing filling in the 'hollow' shoulders of the Blackjack model. Yes, ECM will draw PTW criticism, but Blackjack's are fragile and somewhat slow; they seem like a good platform for it)

It is called cross advertisement. They run a vote/contest on NGNG, they get exposure from that site, and fans of MWO now have to go there and NGNG gets recipricated exposure.
Honestly, I am sure the fact that the majority of negativity that those of you who say you will not go out of this site to support the game is another reason. I would try to avoid asking those people myself lmfao. I want happy helpful people, those that patron the G+ chan, active MWO twits, etc, those guys usually have more balanced and cooperative fans than the horrid doomsayers and rablerousers that refuse to let things lie and move on here on the forums.
I tend to avoid the forums just because of those negative people, and honestly, with the enjoyment i and many others get out of this game, they want to know how we feel. We range from the casual to the 12v12 HC players, and we have balanced input, not negative or whiteknighting. We know PGI can do wrong, accept that they are human, but will hold them to their mistakes when neccessary, but we do not brew it into a deep seething grudge as many forum warriors have done.
You cry that they are ignoring the community, but these forums do not house the entire community, some of us moved from here and enjoy the company of others in the community elsewhere. So they are listening to the community and interacting with it, just not always here in this forum. In the modern age of instant communication and ease of data gathering, I personally think PGI is doing it right. Get out there, spread the community, they are no longer lassoed by the constraints of a single forum, they have many other avenues they can take, and they are taking them.

I want to minimize the number of web accounts I have, not increase them. I consider a MWO account and a Battletech.com account sufficient evidence of fandom.
Also how did NGNG become the go to place for MechWarrior? I didn't vote for them. Did they win it in a trial of position?
